What issues of concern affect designers and their practice and, likewise, how can design be used to affect these issues towards a positive outcome? Rod Bamford looks at how the world around us impacts on design and design process, and how designers can respond to these issues and work towards design solutions in their own practices.

He works across the fields of sculpture and design, drawing on experience in the field of ceramics, digital processing technologies, polymers, and related media. Rod teaches in the areas of digital modelling & fabrication, ceramics, object design and sustainability.
