Social innovator Mickey Kovari talks about the various ways in which art and design can be used for social enterprise, and how his company aims to empower young people to be creative learners, thinkers and professionals through photography workshops and practices.
Mickey Kovari is the co-founder of Flashpoint Labs, a company which focuses on social enterprise through art and design practices. He's a fellow at the School for Social Entrepreneurs and an active member of Social Innovation Sydney. He has engaged in research in Indigenous Studies, Social Entrepreneurship and Business, and believes in social enterprises that meet a quintuple bottom line by being economically viable, socially beneficial, culturally stimulating, politically influential and environmentally sustainable.
