Watch this on your iPod - Vodcast available here
Remarking / Remaking is an exhibition of contemporary Australian drawing showcasing the works of artists who address Australia's cultural diaspora. The intimacy provided by the drawn medium is a perfect platform for artists to either respond to their own cultural diaspora or their experiences of Australian society. The exhibition presents experimental approaches to drawing, suggesting new pictorial possibilities for the themes of absence, presence, displacement, belonging, and identity.
Born in Karachi, Pakistan, Abdullah M. I.
