Creative Waves 2005: 03>04>05

Icograda and The Omnium Project (Australia) hosted Creative Waves - the first in a series of free online projects for students studying, or interested in, graphic design, photomedia and visual communication. The project included:

• 22 Teachers/Mentors
• 22 Countries
• 21 Special Guests

The first Creative Waves project (03>04>05) took place over a 7-week period during March and April 2005, linking 61 art and design students and their teachers from member institutions of the Icograda Education Network (IEN) around the world. Using Omnium's online 'creative studio' interface, participants interacted in small design teams (where no team member is in the same geographic location) to challenge and respond to an unfolding and conceptual design brief.
